Market will open on a flat note today after yesterday's rally. 

Stocks in Asia were primed for gains on Friday after a strong start to the year lifted U.S. equities to fresh all-time highs.

The S&P 500 jumped 0.8 % to a record on the year’s first trading day, with megacaps Apple, Alphabet and Nike notching all-time highs.

🎯 Apollo Hospitals :

HDFC will acquire majority stake in Apollo Munich from the Apollo Hospitals Group for Rs 1,347 crore and will merge the company with its arm HDFC ERGO.

🎯 JSW Energy :

Company said the company entered into an agreement with Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd. to restructure the principal outstanding amount of Rs.751.77 crore, owed by JPVL to the company.

Company set lump order price at Rs 2,800 per tonne; Fines at Rs 2,560 per tonne.

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has slapped a Rs 15,019 crore demand notice on Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd taking the total amount it has sought from non-telecom companies to Rs 3.13 lakh crore following a Supreme Court ruling.
