Asian equities are mixed at the start of the new trading week amid concerns of disappointing economic data from China.
Futures on the Dow Jones are trading 100 points lower. 

US indices fell on Janaury 29 after COVID-19 vaccine data from Johnson & Johnson hurt sentiment, while a standoff between Wall Street hedge funds and small, retail investors weighed in.

Market will open on the negative side after start with yesterday's all round bounce on the bourses.

Asian markets are mixed in mid-week trading even as the U.S Dollar extended its retreat.
Dow Futures has recovered from minus 40 and it is trading flat by losing 8 points at 9 am IST. 

Wall Street's main indexes rose on Tuesday as US Treasury Secretary nominee Janet Yellen advocated for a hefty fiscal relief package before lawmakers to help the world's largest economy ride out a pandemic-driven slump. Act big" now to save economy, worry about debt later, Yellen says in Treasury testimony. 

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 116.26 points, or 0.38%, to 30,930.52, the S&P 500 gained 30.66 points, or 0.81%, to 3,798.91 and the Nasdaq Composite added 198.68 points, or 1.53%, to 13,197.18.

Oil prices climbed with U.S. stock markets on Tuesday ahead of Joe Biden's inauguration as U.S. president on optimism that more government stimulus will eventually lift global economic growth.
Brent futures for March delivery rose $1.15, or 2.1%, to settle at $55.90 a barrel.

Wall Street’s main indexes finished lower on Friday, weighed down by big U.S. banks after their earnings reports, while the energy fell sharply due to a regulatory probe into Exxon Mobil Corp.

Market will open on a flat note today after some tussle between bills and bears witnessed yesterday.

Asian markets are advancing this morning after democrats took control of the Senate, following key elections.
Futures on the Dow Jones are trading with gains of 110 points after higher closing. 

The Dow and the S&P 500 ended higher, soaring to all-time highs on Wednesday, as investors piled into financial and industrial stocks on bets a Democratic sweep in Georgia would lead to more fiscal stimulus and infrastructure spending.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed 437.8 points higher, or 1.44%, to 30,829.4, the S&P 500 gained 21.28 points, or 0.57%, to 3,748.14 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 78.17 points, or 0.61%, to 12,740.79.

Market will open on a cautious note today following global cues.

Asian markets are declining at the start of trade today as investors chose to book profits from a record breaking rally. Rising concerns over coronavirus cases is dampening sentiment.
Dow Futures is trading flat in the morning trades. 
Benchmark indices in Japan, Australia and South Korea are declining. The Cboe Volatility Index surged the most since October.

Shares on Wall Street closed sharply lower on Monday, sliding from all-time peaks on the first trading day of the year, as risk appetite ebbed amid upcoming runoff elections in Georgia and the persistent surge in coronavirus cases.

Market will open with a gap-up on a cheerful note as the Govt. approves Covid-19 vaccine in India for emergency use.

Global equities held near a record high as Asian markets began trading for the first time in 2021. Futures on the Dow Jones are trading flat up by 20 points. 

Asian share markets hit pause on Monday as reports of a possible tightening in coronavirus emergency rules for Tokyo pulled Japanese stocks off 30-year highs, while also lifting the safe-haven yen.

Japan’s factory activity ended a record 19-month run of declines in December as output stabilised for the first time in two years, suggesting manufacturers are shaking off the negative impact from the coronavirus pandemic.
