Market will open on a flat note today after a weekend and an attached holiday.
Futures on the Dow Jones are currently trading higher by 110 points. The index ended 0.9% lower on Monday.

World stock markets dipped on Monday to close a record-breaking month as the prospect of a vaccine-driven economic recovery next year and further central bank stimulus measures eclipsed immediate concerns about the spiking coronavirus pandemic.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 271.73 points, or 0.91%, to 29,638.64, the S&P 500 lost 16.72 points, or 0.46%, to 3,621.63 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 7.11 points, or 0.06%, to 12,198.74.

India's July-September quarter GDP prints came out better-than-expected, reaffirming that the signs of improvement in the economy were real.

Market will open on a positive note today after making new highs on the Indian indices with global firmness and ahead of positivity on DOW Futures in the morning today. 

Mid-week trading has begun on a positive note for Asian equities. This after U.S. markets climbed to fresh records with cyclical sectors continuing to see inflows.
Futures on the Dow Jones are trading higher by 140 points.

U.S. stocks rallied on Tuesday and the Dow breached the 30,000 level for the first time, as investors anticipated a 2021 economic recovery on coronavirus vaccine progress and the formal clearance for President-elect Joe Biden’s transition to the White House.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 454.97 points, or 1.54%, to 30,046.24, the S&P 500 gained 57.82 points, or 1.62%, to 3,635.41 and the Nasdaq Composite added 156.15 points, or 1.31%, to 12,036.79.


US consumer confidence fell more than expected in November likely as a widespread surge in new COVID-19 infections and business restrictions outweighed encouraging news on vaccines.

US stocks closed lower on Friday as investors wrestled with fiscal stimulus developments, concerns over a lengthy rollout of vaccines, and a growing number of state-level shutdowns to combat the spiraling COVID-19 pandemic.

Market will open on a flat note today after a negative session yesterday.

Asian markets are mixed on the final trading day of the week. Benchmark indices in Japan are declining, while those in South Korea and Australia trade with modest gains.

Tech shares led U.S. markets higher overnight. Stocks rallied while the dollar fell on Thursday, and oil settled lower but rose after hours following a report that US lawmakers may restart negotiations on economic stimulus, which lifted gloom that had persisted through most of the global day.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 44.81 points, or 0.15 percent, to 29,483.23, the S&P 500 gained 14.08 points, or 0.39 percent, to 3,581.87 and the Nasdaq Composite added 103.11 points, or 0.87 percent, to 11,904.71.

Dow Futures are trading down by more than 200 points. U.S. futures are declining after Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and the U.S. Federal Reserve publically disagreed over whether to extend the pandemic programs. Also, US jobless claims increase to 742,00 as pandemic worsens.

Market will open on a negative note today after making new highs on the Indian indices yesterday.

U.S. stocks retreated from record closing highs on Tuesday, ending lower as surging COVID-19 cases, the growing threat of a fresh round of economic lockdowns and weak retail sales data dampened the euphoria caused by potential vaccine breakthroughs.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 167.09 points, or 0.56%, to 29,783.35, the S&P 500 lost 17.38 points, or 0.48%, to 3,609.53 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 24.79 points, or 0.21%, to 11,899.34.

Market will open on a negative side today after a small correction experienced yesterday.

Wall Street ended lower by more than a percent on Thursday as U.S. coronavirus infections surged and investors weighed the timeline for the mass rollout of an effective vaccine. US weekly jobless claims drop to seven-month low. 

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 1.08% to end at 29,080.17 points, while the S&P 500 lost 1.00% to 3,537.01. The Nasdaq Composite dropped 0.65% to 11,709.59.

Oil prices fell in early trade on Friday as a spike in the number of COVID-19 infections raised fears for the global economy and near-term fuel demand, but remained on track for a second straight weekly gain amid hopes for a vaccine.

Market will open on a flat note today after making new highs yesterday on global markets' rally.

The Nasdaq closed 1.4% lower and the S&P dipped slightly on Tuesday as investors sold off technology stocks that benefited from virus lockdowns, favoring sectors that have suffered most during the pandemic instead on hopes a COVID-19 vaccine will turn the economy around.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 262.95 points, or 0.9%, to 29,420.92, the S&P 500 lost 4.97 points, or 0.14%, to 3,545.53 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 159.93 points to 11,553.86.

Oil ended nearly 3% higher on Tuesday as hopes that a COVID-19 vaccine is on the horizon outweighed worries about a drop in fuel demand from new lockdowns to contain the virus.

Asian markets are edging higher this morning, amidst promising results from a large-scale Covid-19 vaccine study.

The S&P 500 and the Dow rallied sharply with new highs on Monday as investors bet that a full economic reopening was finally in sight following the first positive data from a late-stage COVID-19 vaccine trial.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 834.57 points, or 2.95%, to 29,157.97 in its biggest one-day percentage gain since June 5. The S&P 500 rose 41.06 points, or 1.17%, to 3,550.5 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 181.45 points, or 1.53%, to 11,713.78.

Market will start with a gap-up opening today with cheerful global sentiment after Mr. Biden's win. 

Asian markets have begun the new trading week with gains. 

US indices Futures are currently trading higher more than 1% even though stocks hovered near unchanged on Friday to close out with a big weekly gain as Democratic challenger Joe Biden edged closer to victory in the presidential election, while the monthly jobs report underscored the hurdles still facing the economy.
Democratic candidate Joseph Biden won the 2020 United States presidential election after the state of Pennsylvania was called in his favour. He becomes the oldest person to be elected President. Along with his, his running mate Kamala Harris will become the first female, Black and Indian-origin vice-president of the United States.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 96.68 points, or 0.34%, to 28,293.5, the S&P 500 lost 4.05 points, or 0.12%, to 3,506.4 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 4.43 points, or 0.04%, to 11,886.50.

Market will open on a flat note after hitting 9 month high yesterday.

Asian markets have regained some lost ground after opening lower, despite another strong session on Wall Street. Futures on the Dow Jones are trading with heavy volatility, currently fluctuating between losses of 80-150 points.  

U.S. stocks jumped on Thursday as investors bet Republicans would hold onto the Senate and prevent changes under a possible Joe Biden White House that would crimp corporate profits.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 1.95% to end at 28,390.18 points, while the S&P 500 gained 1.95% to 3,510.45. The Nasdaq Composite climbed 2.59% to 11,890.93.

The Federal Reserve kept its loose monetary policy intact on Thursday and pledged again to do whatever it can in coming months to sustain a U.S. economic recovery losing speed amid a spreading coronavirus pandemic and facing uncertainty over a still-undecided presidential election.

US stocks surged to close higher on Wednesday as the presidential election race remained cloudy but the likelihood of gridlock in Congress made investors optimistic that major policy changes would be difficult to enact.

Market will open with a gap up continuing yesterday's firmness led by banking sector.

Asian markets opened higher ahead of today's Presidential elections in the U.S. Benchmark indices in Australia and South Korea are rising while those in Japan are shut on account of a holiday.

The Dow and S&P closed higher on Monday with the Nasdaq posting slimmer gains on the eve of the U.S. presidential election, as investors girded for what could be big market swings this week.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 423.45 points, or 1.6%, to 26,925.05, the S&P 500 gained 40.28 points, or 1.23%, to 3,310.24 and the Nasdaq Composite added 46.02 points, or 0.42%, to 10,957.61.

Market will open on a flat note today.

Asian markets have opened mixed this morning. Benchmark indices in Japan are seeing gains while those in Australia are fluctuating. Today marks the start of a very important week for global equities, with the U.S. Presidential Elections, as well as the Federal Reserve Policy meeting.

US stock indexes closed lower on Friday to cap Wall Street's biggest weekly sell-off since March, as losses in richly priced tech heavyweights, a record rise in coronavirus cases and jitters over the presidential election snuffed investor sentiment.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 157.51 points, or 0.59%, to 26,501.6. The S&P 500 lost 40.15 points, or 1.21%, to 3,269.96 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 274.00 points, or 2.45%, to 10,911.59.

Futures on the Dow Jones are trading 140 points lower currently.
