18th November, 2019 Morning Brief

Market will open on a flat note today.

Stocks saw a muted open to the week in Asia as investors await fresh developments on the U.S.-China trade front.
The S&P 500 reached another record on Friday and gained for the sixth week in a row, the longest streak in two years.
Oil climbed to the highest in nearly two months amid optimism that the U.S. and China are close to locking down a partial trade deal.

On domestic front, muted September quarter numbers of Indian corporates, weak economic data on inflation and IIP kept the Indian market volatile throughout the week gone by.

Worrisome macroeconomic prints coincided with change in the growth outlook by Moody's last week where it was downgraded to negative from stable for India.

US-China trade deal, macro data and policy measures by the government, if any, to help stressed sectors such as telecom, will be a major trigger for the market this week. All eyes will be on whether the government announces any fresh stimulus to stressed telecom sector.

Despite disappointing macro numbers coming in this week (November 11-15), the market continued to rally, which is enough to conclude that we're witnessing a bull market. So again sustaining above 12050 plus would be a key to revisualize new tops for the Nifty50.
