Market will open on a flat note today after two consecutive days' rally.

Asian markets are consolidating this morning, amid portfolio adjustments made during the end of the month.The U.S. Dollar has extended its losses while treasuries are little changed. 

Technology stocks again rode to Wall Street's rescue on Friday, lifting the main indexes more than 1%, but the Dow and the S&P 500 still posted their longest weekly losing streaks in a year as fears of a slowing economy sparked an almost month-long rout.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 358.52 points, or 1.34%, to 27,173.96. The S&P 500 gained 51.87 points, or 1.60%, to 3,298.46 and the Nasdaq Composite added 241.30 points, or 2.26%, to 10,913.56.

Market will open on a positive note today after a fall registered yesterday because of global selloff on the claim of money laundering for terrorists by some big international banks.

Asian markets have opened lower after a weak closing on Wall Street, despite a rebound from the sessions lows. Markets in Japan are shut for a holiday today as well.

Wall Street’s main indexes tumbled on Monday with also concerning about new lockdowns in Europe and possible delays in fresh stimulus from Congress raised fears the U.S. economy faces a longer road to recovery than previously hoped for. But a short covering in second half erased some dent while closing. 

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 2% to end at 27,102.99 points, while the S&P 500 lost 1.28% to 3,276.87. The Nasdaq Composite dropped 0.22%, to 10,769.20.

US FinCEN names 26 Indian banks partaking in dubious transactions: Report

A number of banks, regardless of whether they were private, public or foreign, helped in carrying out transactions that were red-flagged by the government between 2010 and 2017. According to a Business Standard report, the International Consortium of Investigative Journalism (ICIJ) obtained top-secret Suspicious Activity Reports, or SARs, of over $2 trillion globally. While these transactions do not serve as outright proof of malicious activity, they are red-flagged by US authorities as suspicious.

In the case of India, these files so far have established sender-receiver connections for 406 transactions involving all major banks, including the country's largest lender, State Bank of India.

Market will open on a flat note today after a volatile session witnessed on Friday because of RBI declared that PSBs reported frauds worth over Rs 19,964 crore in the first quarter of FY21 which created panic in banking sector and dragged the market.

US stocks turned lower in volatile trading on Friday as worries about rising coronavirus cases and a patchy economic recovery dampened risk sentiment, with technology-related stocks reversing early gains to extend their declines to a third day.

Asian markets have opened slightly higher on Friday, on course to post its first weekly gain for the month of September.

US stocks fell on Thursday as technology-related shares slid for a second day and as government data showed high levels of weekly jobless claims. 

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 130.4 points, or 0.47%, to 27,901.98, the S&P 500 lost 28.48 points, or 0.84%, to 3,357.01 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 140.19 points, or 1.27%, to 10,910.28.

UK outlook :

Bank of England says economic outlook 'unusually uncertain' for the economy in light of the recent spike in coronavirus infections and questions over the trading relationship with the EU from the start of next year.

Market will open with a gap-down following weak global cues amid concerns about strength of economic recovery even as Fed decided to keep interest rates near zero.

Asian markets struck a cautious note this morning after U.S. Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell highlighted the uncertainty of an economic rebound without further stimulus.

The S&P 500 ended lower on Wednesday, reversing gains late in the day as losses in technology shares outweighed a Federal Reserve statement that stoked optimism it would keep U.S. interest rates near zero for a prolonged period. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 36.78 points, or 0.13%, to 28,032.38, the S&P 500 lost 15.71 points, or 0.46%, to 3,385.49 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 139.86 points, or 1.25%, to 11,050.47.

Market will open on a flat note today after a strong session on the hopes of LTCG tax abolishment. 

Asian markets are mixed and flat as investors await a Federal Reserve meeting. Commentary from the FOMC will be awaited to gauge the extent of central bank support for the economic recovery. Treasuries and the U.S. Dollar edged higher. Contracts of the Nasdaq declined after reports suggested that Facebook may face a possible U.S. antitrust lawsuit.

U.S. stocks rose on Tuesday as investors hoped the Federal Reserve would stick with its supportive policy stance as the central bank’s two-day meeting got under way.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 2.27 points, or 0.01%, to 27,995.6, the S&P 500 gained 17.66 points, or 0.52%, to 3,401.2 and the Nasdaq Composite added 133.67 points, or 1.21%, to 11,190.32.

A government panel recommended that long term capital gains from investment in startups should be abolished, at least for the next two years, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Reserve Bank on September 15 proposed allowing foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) to undertake exchange-traded rupee interest rate derivatives transactions subject to an overall ceiling of Rs 5,000 crore.

Market will open on a positive note today after a volatile session.

Asian markets have drifted lower at the start of trade this morning, after ending Monday's session with steady gains.

U.S. stocks ended sharply higher on Monday as signs of progress in developing a COVID-19 vaccine and a spurt of multibillion-dollar deals lifted investor optimism.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 327.69 points, or 1.18%, to 27,993.33, the S&P 500 gained 42.57 points, or 1.27%, to 3,383.54 and the Nasdaq Composite added 203.11 points, or 1.87%, to 11,056.65.

Bank credit grew 5.49 percent to Rs 102.11 lakh crore, while deposits increased 10.92 percent to Rs 141.76 lakh crore in the fortnight ended August 28, according to RBI data. In the fortnight ended August 30, 2019, banks’ advances were at Rs 96.80 lakh crore and deposits stood at Rs 127.80 lakh crore.

In the previous fortnight ended August 14, 2020, bank credit and deposits had grown by 5.52 percent and 11.04 percent to Rs 102.19 lakh crore and Rs 140.80 lakh crore, respectively. Data shows there is decrease in the percentage of deposits. It means people have come out with spending. 

India's retail inflation stood at 6.69% in August. 

India's oil import bill declines by two-third on fall in international prices which seems a positive case for the economy.

Market will open on a positive note today in line with Asian markets as AstraZeneca resumed its phase-3 trial.

Asian markets have begun the new trading week with gains. Investors are looking forward to a meeting of the U.S. Federal Reserve, that could provide cues on the policy outlook.

The Nasdaq slid and the S&P 500 closed little with change on September 11 as early gains in technology and growth names faded, with each of the three major Wall Street averages posting their second straight weekly decline.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed up 131.06 points, or 0.48 percent, to 27,665.64. The S&P 500 gained 1.78 points, or 0.05 percent, to 3,340.97 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 66.05 points, or 0.6 percent, to 10,853.55.

India's industrial output contracted 10.4 % in July as against a 4.9 % growth year-on-year (YoY), as per the Index of Industrial Production (IIP) data released by the government on September 11.

Asian markets have opened higher this morning after equities on Wall Street rebounded from a three-day rout.

Wall Street major indices ended higher on Wednesday to snap a three-session losing slide as investors jumped back in to take advantage of the pullback in technology-related stocks, a day after the Nasdaq confirmed correction territory.

Asian markets have opened lower in mid-week trade on concerns that a Covid-19 vaccine, which was the key catalyst for the strong rally in global equities from the lows in March, can be delayed.

US markets closed lower for a third straight session on Tuesday as heavyweight technology shares extended their sell-off to send the Nasdaq into correction territory, while Tesla suffered its biggest daily percentage drop after the stock was passed over for inclusion in the S&P 500.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 632.42 points, or 2.25%, to 27,500.89, the S&P 500 lost 95.12 points, or 2.78%, to 3,331.84 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 465.44 points, or 4.11%, to 10,847.69.

Asian markets have begun the new trading week on a mixed note after the biggest two-day slide in global equities since June left investors on the edge.

The Nasdaq closed lower on Friday though well above its session low as selling eased late in the day after investors dumped heavyweight technology stocks due to concerns about high valuations and a patchy economic

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 159.42 points, or 0.56%, to close at 28,133.31, the S&P 500 lost 2811 points, or 0.81%, to 3,426.96 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 144.97 points, or 1.27% to 11,313.13.

US employment growth slowed further in August and permanent job losses increased as money from the government started running out, raising doubts on the sustainability of the economy's recovery from the deep COVID-19 recession.

Market will open on a flat note today after a lacklustre session, yesterday.

Asian markets continue to edge higher, following their U.S. peers amid signs that the rally in global equities is now broadening to sectors beyond technologies.

US markets rose sharply on Wednesday, continuing a strong start to September for the market as traders took profits out of high-flying names like Apple and Tesla and snapped up shares in more beaten-down parts of the market.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 454.84 points, or 1.6%, to close at 29,100.50. The S&P 500 gained 1.5% to end the day at 3,580.84 while the Nasdaq Composite was higher by 1% at 12,056.44.

Market will start on a negative side today after a recovery seen yesterday. 

The S&P500 and the Nasdaq hit new highs on Tuesday with techniology leading the charge as Apple, Zoom Video soared, and on the macro front, better-than-expected data on US manufacturing sector data gave optimism about economic recovery.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 215 points, at 28,645, the S&P 500 gained 26 points, or 0.75%, to 3,526 and the Nasdaq Composite added 164 points, or 1.3%, to 11,939.

The US Trade Representative's office said on September 1 it has extended China tariff exclusions for a wide range of goods, including smart watches and certain medical masks, through the end of 2020, rather than renewing the previous one-year extension.

Moody's Investor services declared that India among large emerging market sovereigns to have highest debt burden by 2021, which may put investors into a cautious stance.
